Tester III, Software Testing

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Functional Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating business and functional requirements, designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring software applications meet business expectations and quality standards. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and User Stories.
• Prepare comprehensive Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Data.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript, following best practices such as the Page Object Model and reusable test components.
• Automate regression and end-to-end UI scenarios across browsers, and integrate Playwright test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous execution.
• Analyze automation results using Playwright reports, traces, and screenshots to identify defects and maintain stable, reliable test suites.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback.
• Ensure test coverage and traceability against business requirements.
• Support UAT activities and coordinate with business users.
• Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics.
• Ensure applications comply with functional requirements and quality standards.
