Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support business reporting, analytics, and performance tracking. The role will be responsible for generating actionable business insights, developing automated MIS and dashboards, and partnering with Product, Business, and Technology teams to enhance decision-making through data-driven analysis. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, reporting efficiency, process standardization, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide business reports for various product suites (e.g., CA/SA/FD, third-party products, Government Schemes).
• Liaise with IT, Product, and other support teams for report/analytics information.
• Provide geography-level customer penetration analysis across business lines (e.g., mobile banking, net banking, UPI, asset products, transaction analysis) or social platforms.
• Continuously automate and standardize reporting processes.
• Create standard operating procedures and other documentation.
• Liaise with product heads/managers on report requirements.
• Prepare monthly management reporting and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficient in MS Office tools including MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and Databricks is required and preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferably from the Financial Service Industry.
• Knowledge of Liability and Asset business is preferred.
• Good inter-personal skills.
