Social Media Marketing Intern

About the Role

As a Social Media Management Intern, you’ll handle the day-to-day social media work for our products. You’ll create posts, carousels, and reels, reply to users, and take part in online communities like Reddit. You may also write blog posts from time to time. This role is ideal for someone who is active on social media, enjoys making content, and can post consistently without reminders. You can work from home. If you live near Ambernath or Ulhasnagar, you can also work from our office. Students and freshers can apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan a weekly content calendar around trends, festivals, and key dates
• Create posts, carousels, and stories for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
• Script, shoot, and edit short reels for Instagram and YouTube Shorts
• Write captions and hashtags that suit each platform
• Reply to comments, DMs, and messages, and share user feedback with the team
• Coordinate with users to collect reviews, testimonials, and user-generated content
• Take part in communities on Reddit and other platforms
• Write blog posts when needed, and turn blog content into social media posts
• Reach out to creators and influencers for collaborations
• Track reach, engagement, and follower growth, and share a simple weekly report

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good written English and a clear, simple writing style
• Active user of Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and other social platforms
• Good sense of what makes a post or reel work on each platform
• Basic design skills in Canva or a similar tool
• Basic video editing skills in CapCut, InShot, or a similar app
• Ability to come up with new content ideas regularly
• Ability to work independently and stick to a posting schedule
• A laptop, a smartphone, and stable internet if you work from home

Good to Have

• Experience running a page, a personal brand, or a college club's social media
• Comfortable appearing on camera for reels
• Familiarity with Reddit culture and community rules
• Experience with scheduling and analytics tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or Publer
• Basic understanding of SEO and blog writing
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
• Interest in online shopping, consumer apps, or digital platforms
