Banquet Executive

About the Role

The Hoxton, Bengaluru City is opening its first neighbourhood hotel in Asia in 2026 and is looking for a charismatic & experienced Banquet Executive to join the team. The hotel will be located in the heart of Bengaluru's city centre and will feature 149 bedrooms, an all-day dining restaurant & bar, a rooftop pool and bar, large-scale function rooms, and The Hoxton's unique meeting & events concept, The Apartment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Banquet Manager in delivering seamless meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events.
• Coordinate banquet operations during your shift, ensuring exceptional service and smooth event execution.
• Ensure all function rooms are set up to specification and maintained to the highest presentation standards.
• Lead and support the banquet team, creating a positive, guest-focused environment.
• Work closely with the Kitchen, Events, and Stewarding teams to ensure flawless event delivery.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve operational issues with confidence and professionalism.
• Monitor departmental costs, equipment, and supplies while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times.
• Support the training and development of team members, encouraging continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Banquet Executive, Banquet Supervisor, or in a similar Food & Beverage operations role within a hotel.
• Strong knowledge of banquet service standards, event operations, and function room set-up.
• Passion for hospitality.
• A positive attitude and ability to leave guests with a memorable experience.
• A collaborative and helpful approach to getting things done.
• Willingness to try new things and work in a creative environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team that works hard, supports each other, and has fun.
