Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional approach with all patients, staff, and visitors.
• Provide medical cover, routine and emergency, during hours of duty, and collaborate with other specialties.
• Perform procedures such as Central line, IV Channelization, and Intubation.
• Operate instruments like the Ventilator.
• Adhere to all clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols (e.g., wearing gloves and aprons, maintaining hand hygiene).
• Monitor patients as and when required or requested.
• Identify complex patient health problems and report immediately to the concerned doctor.
• Supervise daily clinical management of all patients under the guidance of Consultants.
• Prescribe pain management medicines.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family, colleagues, and other healthcare workers.
• Ensure treatment sheets are complete with diagnosis (in capital letters), dated, named, and signed by the writing doctor.
• Refer to progress notes while writing treatment sheets.
• Assist Consultants for rounds, conduct independent rounds, and follow up patients for further care (changes in treatment plan).
• Accompany Consultants for rounds and take notes as required.
• Prepare discharge summaries.
• Assess new patients admitted.
• Follow on-call and duty rota based on department requirements.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives and organizational protocols.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• MBBS
• MD/DNB (Paediatrics)
• Ability to perform procedures like Central line, IV Channelization, Intubation.
• Ability to operate instruments like Ventilator.
• Effective communication skills.
