Role Overview

As an AI & Software Engineering Intern at NEXANDR, you will work across Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Backend, Frontend, and Full-Stack Engineering. You will collaborate with engineers and product teams to design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy technology solutions. The role provides hands-on exposure to modern AI technologies as well as the software engineering practices required to build scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for real-world applications.
• Research and experiment with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.
• Build AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, and automation systems.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and knowledge-based AI systems.
• Work with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and information retrieval.
• Integrate AI models and APIs into production-oriented applications.
• Experiment with open-source and locally hosted AI models.
• Perform data preparation, preprocessing, analysis, and feature engineering.
• Train, evaluate, optimize, and validate Machine Learning models.
• Work with transformer architectures and modern AI frameworks.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build and integrate frontend interfaces for AI-powered applications.
• Contribute to full-stack application development and system integration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into software products.
• Document experiments, methodologies, results, and technical findings.
• Stay updated with developments in Generative AI, Machine Learning, software engineering, and emerging technologies.
