Cashier

About the Role

As a Cashier at Raising Cane’s, you play an essential role in the Restaurant’s front of house, guiding the customer experience. This is an entry-level position with no experience required, and paid training is provided. You will be a key player in an upbeat and fast-paced food service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Filling drink orders
• Working the drive-thru
• Taking orders from customers and processing payments efficiently
• Cleaning tables, floors, and other areas of the Restaurant
• Following proper safety procedures when handling or preparing food
• Providing quick and friendly service to all customers
• Working together as a team, assisting other Crewmembers
• Working under pressure and at a fast pace
• Aligning with Raising Cane’s culture by balancing working hard and having fun
• Taking initiative
• Complying with Company policies

Advancement Opportunities

• Advance careers by taking on more responsibilities in other roles, such as Certified Trainer.
• Cross-train on all positions by moving to the back of the house.
• Opportunity to earn up to an extra $1.50 per hour in pay increases within the first year through additional training, certifications, and performance evaluations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to lift and carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to kneel, bend, twist, or stoop.
• Ability to ascend or descend stairs.
• Ability to reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time.
• Ability to multitask.
