About the Role
- Internship Term: Summer 2027
- This is a bucket application for Rivian’s 2027 internship programs.
- Specific responsibilities and qualifications will be communicated if selected.
Eligibility
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term.
- Expected graduation date between Fall 2027 through Spring 2029.
- Requires active student enrollment.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university.
- Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or similar.
- Development experience in one or more areas of computer vision, image/video, or deep learning.
- Experience programming in C++, Python, or related languages.
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and neural network architectures.
- Proficiency in using computer vision and deep learning toolkits.
- Passionately motivated to take ideas from R&D phase to a product.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range varies by location:
- Palo Alto: $33.00 - $51.00 per hour
- SoCal: $26.00 - $45.00 per hour
- Normal or Plymouth: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
- Comprehensive package of benefits including paid vacation, paid sick leave, and medical insurance benefits.
- Internship positions are not eligible for retirement benefits.
