About The Role
Razorpay is looking for AI Builders, who are AI-first individuals from product, data, or business backgrounds. The role involves identifying real business problems, shipping working AI solutions independently, and driving their adoption. This is not a role for engineers waiting for specifications, but rather for individuals who can take ownership of an outcome from problem identification to user adoption.
What You'll Do
- Work AI-first: Use AI by default for research, prototyping, analysis, and automation.
- Identify Problems: Collaborate with business and operations teams to find and assess problems.
- Ship v1 Quickly: Build a working first version using AI coding tools, agents, or no-code solutions.
- Drive Adoption: Onboard users, measure impact, and iterate until the solution is adopted.
- Make Decisions: Determine what to scale, change, or discontinue based on clear reasoning.
- Stay Ahead: Monitor and evaluate new AI models and tools for relevant applications.
Who You Are
- AI-First Mindset: AI is your primary approach to research, build, and ship.
- Proven Builder: Experience building something from scratch, such as founding a venture or launching a side product.
- Problem-Centric: Ability to identify real problems, understand their origin, and demonstrate metric impact.
- Hands-on Creator: Experience shipping AI-powered products or workflows using code, agents, or no-code.
- Adoption Driver: Track record of taking a product from launch to user adoption.
- Clear Communicator: Ability to explain complex problems and solutions concisely.
- Outcome Owner: Takes ownership and makes decisions to drive results.
Good To Have
- A startup or side venture with real users, revenue, or funding.
- Product or Go-To-Market (GTM) experience in fintech, payments, or consumer sectors.
- Founding-team experience in GTM, including positioning, first customers, and pricing.
- A data science, analytics, or engineering background sufficient for technical discussions.
- A public presence demonstrating expertise (e.g., blog, talks, open-source contributions).
