About the Role
The Software Engineer Intern role at Bluebex is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and test code for back-end services.
- Debug issues.
- Collaborate with engineering team members on new features and enhancements.
- Assist in reviewing technical requirements.
- Implement object-oriented designs.
- Contribute to code reviews and documentation.
- Learn and apply best practices for software quality, performance, and security.
- Participate in agile workflows such as stand-ups and sprint planning.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Software Development and Programming skills, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical team members.
- Interest in modernizing technology, improving user experiences, and learning new tools and frameworks.
