Internship Overview
MARS Exploration invites applications from enthusiastic undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, and numerical simulation. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to CFD principles, numerical methods, flow simulation, and engineering applications using industry-relevant simulation software.
Software & Technical Tools
- ANSYS Workbench
- ANSYS Fluent
- ANSYS Meshing
- SolidWorks (basic geometry preparation, where applicable)
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the internship, students will gain exposure to:
- Fundamentals of CFD and numerical simulation.
- Pre-processing, solving, and post-processing.
- Mesh independence and convergence concepts.
- Aerodynamic and fluid-flow analysis.
- Engineering simulation and result interpretation.
- Technical documentation and project presentation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma students
- B.E. / B.Tech. students
- M.E. / M.Tech. students
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. students
- Students from Mechanical, Aerospace, Automobile, Chemical, and related engineering disciplines.
- Students from other relevant technical backgrounds with an interest in CFD may also apply.
