Data Annotator

About the Role

As a Data Annotator at Tika Data Services (opc), you will be responsible for the meticulous annotation and validation of various datasets to support machine learning projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate, label, classify, and validate image, video, text, audio, and document datasets according to project guidelines.
• Perform quality checks to ensure annotation accuracy and consistency.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and project-specific instructions.
• Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
• Report ambiguous cases and provide feedback to the Quality Assurance team.
• Maintain confidentiality and securely handle customer data.
• Learn and use annotation tools and internal software efficiently.
• Collaborate with team leads and quality analysts to continuously improve annotation quality.
• Participate in training and certification programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Fresh graduates (BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA or equivalent).
• BE/B.Tech graduates need not apply.
• Must be willing to work full-time from the office in Bengaluru or Hosur.
• Work From Home (WFH) and hybrid work options are not available.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Good written English; knowledge of additional Indian languages is an added advantage.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Patient, disciplined, and capable of performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• No prior experience required. Freshers are encouraged to apply.
