About the Role

This is a full-time, 12-week internship for Summer 2027, located in Portland, OR. Candidates not already in Portland will be required to relocate for the duration. The internship is designed for skill development and work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Quality Assurance department with a primary focus on data management.
• Conduct data collection, data analysis, and data entry.
• Develop tools for data collection to simplify analytical processes.
• Aid in streamlining pre and post-audit scheduling for risk assessment.
• Research Maintenance department concerns.
• Assist in creating presentations.
• Aid in reviewing manuals.
• Conduct audit research.
• Interact with other departments inside and outside of Maintenance.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Aeronautics, Maintenance Analytics, Aviation Safety, Human Factors, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to set and meet deadlines.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester or quarter remaining after the internship.
• Achieved junior or higher academic standing at the time of application.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to aviation rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with database creation and maintenance.
