Welcome Coordinator

About the Role

The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health is responsible for creating an inclusive environment and making a positive first and last impression on patients. They are the face of the clinic and contribute to efficient center operations by performing administrative tasks that support an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and guests
• Conduct visit check-in and assist patients with required forms
• Collect co-pays
• Update patient information and make changes in the electronic medical record platform
• Schedule/reschedule appointments within the electronic medical records platform
• Manage phone lines by answering, taking messages, and conducting outbound calls
• Manage faxes in the electronic fax platform
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas
• May be required to float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong computer skills
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite
• Professional phone etiquette
• US work authorization
• A flexible and positive attitude
• A welcoming and nurturing attitude toward the patient population of older adults
• High level of integrity

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve (where necessary)
• Experience in a customer service setting strongly preferred
• Some college preferred

Pay Range

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $17.00 - $31.30 per hour. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program.
