About the Role
This opportunity involves supporting the development of data-driven solutions by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing structured and unstructured data. The role focuses on developing foundational skills in data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning within a collaborative environment. This position will work as an extension of staff with the client Miami Dade Aviation Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Collects, cleans, and transforms data for analysis and modeling.
- Builds basic statistical models and machine learning algorithms under guidance.
- Creates visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights.
- Collaborates with team members to support data-driven decision-making.
- Documents data sources, processes, and findings.
- Learns and applies best practices in data science and analytics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems, OR
- 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Analytical skills supporting data analysis, reporting dashboards, performance tracking, and process improvement.
- Ability to build or improve Power BI/Tableau dashboards and analytical models.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
