Family Office Accounting (FOA) Intern

About the Role

This internship offers hands-on experience in accounting and financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and maintaining financial records using tools such as QuickBooks Online and Bill.com. It’s ideal for an Accounting student who is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable with Excel, and eager to gain practical accounting experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping and general accounting activities.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and cash flow analyses.
• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely using Bill.com.
• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies.
• Enter, review, and maintain financial information in QuickBooks Online and other accounting systems.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Provide support for special projects and administrative tasks, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; junior or senior standing is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks Online or Bill.com is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines in a professional environment.
