Direct Support Associate

About the Role

Mosaic is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join their team. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to individuals as they learn and develop important daily living skills and life activities, enabling them to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of important daily living skills and life activities by creating an environment for learning and growth.
• Help individuals identify and achieve their most important goals to live their best life.
• Monitor the comfort and safety of individuals, ensuring their medical, nutritional, and personal care needs are met.
• Provide emotional support while assisting with general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry duties.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver's license (where applicable).
• Must be 18 years of age.
• No experience needed; thorough training is provided.

Physical Demands

• Frequent physical activity including extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.
• Occasional periods of sitting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting, and balancing.
• Constant reaching between knee and shoulder level.
• Frequent reaching below knee level and overhead.
• Occasional independent lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds of force.
• Ability to safely transfer 50 pounds.
