About the Role
Voice of India is seeking an AI Growth Intern to own how the platform reaches key stakeholders: researchers building speech models for Indian languages, founders and engineers shipping voice products for India, and AI and data leaders deciding which models their companies buy. The role involves scaling presence on X and LinkedIn, and finding new ways to expose leaderboards, benchmarks, and datasets to the right people. This is a highly autonomous internship, working directly with founders and the research team.
Key Responsibilities
- Map target audiences: researchers at model labs, founders/engineers at voice platforms, and AI/data leaders at enterprises. Identify their online behavior and content preferences.
- Scale Voice of India on X: manage leaderboard updates, benchmark launches, threads, and charts. Ensure major voice AI model launches are covered promptly.
- Scale Voice of India on LinkedIn: grow company page and founder presence, run targeted promotions to reach researchers, voice platform teams, and AI leaders.
- Run launches: plan and execute releases of new leaderboards, benchmarks, datasets, and papers, including timing, founder posts, threads, visuals, and follow-up.
- Build distribution beyond own accounts: collaborate with creators, researchers, and partners to extend reach through trusted voices.
- Run product operations: keep boards fresh, track new model releases, work with the research team on evaluation priorities, and incorporate audience feedback into platform changes.
In a typical week, you might:
- Track voice AI model launches and disseminate results the same day.
- Plan and schedule benchmark launch threads.
- Build target lists of voice researchers and AI leaders for LinkedIn campaigns.
- Brief creators on new leaderboards and coordinate their posts.
- Analyze post reach and engagement to inform future plans.
What Matters Most
The role is measured by two outcomes:
- Reaching the right people:
- Know the target audience by name, maintaining current lists of researchers, builders, and buyers.
- Measure reach and engagement among targeted individuals, not just overall impressions.
- Be the primary source for results upon new voice model releases.
- Create shareable content featuring clear charts and honest numbers.
- Scaling X and LinkedIn into systems:
- Maintain a weekly calendar for posts across Voice of India accounts and founder accounts.
- Develop reusable templates for updates, threads, and charts.
- Utilize targeted LinkedIn and X promotion with specific audience groups.
- Build and nurture relationships with creators and researchers who cover voice AI.
- Report weekly on performance and feed audience insights back into product and research.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Track record of growing an audience on X or LinkedIn (for a company or personal brand).
- Strong writing skills: ability to translate technical results into clear posts, threads, or chart captions.
- Comfort with data: ability to track post performance and adjust strategies based on insights.
- Genuine interest in AI, with curiosity to learn about speech model building and evaluation.
- High ownership: proactive in shipping tasks and attentive to detail.
- Comfort with Hindi and English; proficiency in another Indian language is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running launches for a technical product, developer tool, or AI company.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager or X ads and audience targeting.
- Existing network among AI researchers, builders, or creators.
- Experience running creator or influencer campaigns.
- Basic design skills for charts and visuals (Figma, Canva or similar).
- Comfort with outreach and data tools such as Apollo, spreadsheets, or simple scripts.
- Familiarity with AI tools that enhance productivity.
