About the Role
The Junior Architect role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Mumbai, with some flexibility for work from home. The Junior Architect will support senior architects in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and coordinating design documentation for ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with site analysis.
- Create 2D and 3D drawings.
- Prepare presentation materials.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Assist with building code compliance checks.
- Prepare working drawings.
- Conduct occasional site visits for inspections and coordination.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
- Familiarity with visualization tools.
- Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to architectural tools, BIM platforms, and design workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design.
- Ability to translate concepts into detailed plans and drawings.
- Ability to assist in Project Management activities, including documentation, coordination with stakeholders, and tracking deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Eligibility or pursuit of professional licensure is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes in Mumbai and surrounding areas.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to visit project sites as needed and learn from hands-on construction and coordination activities.
