Role Summary

Adbhut Edits, a creative post-production company within AdbuthVerse, is seeking passionate and detail-oriented Video Editors. The ideal candidate will transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos, demonstrating a strong understanding of storytelling, editing techniques, pacing, music synchronization, and client requirements. You will collaborate with project managers, customer success teams, and other creative professionals to deliver high-quality content within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit wedding films, cinematic highlights, traditional wedding videos, corporate videos, social media reels, and promotional videos.
• Organize and review footage.
• Create engaging sequences with effective storytelling, pacing, transitions, and music synchronization.
• Perform basic colour correction and audio balancing.
• Follow client briefs, reference videos, brand guidelines, and project instructions.
• Incorporate client feedback and complete revisions.
• Coordinate with project managers and the customer success team.
• Maintain consistent quality and meet project deadlines.
• Organize project files, media assets, timelines, and exports.
• Follow established editing workflows, file-naming conventions, and data management practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools and workflow improvements.

Daily Responsibilities

• Review assigned projects and priorities.
• Edit videos according to project specifications.
• Coordinate with the team to resolve queries.
• Review exports for quality, audio, visual consistency, and technical errors.
• Update project status and maintain organized files.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good understanding of video editing, visual storytelling, and composition.
• Ability to synchronize footage with music.
• Understanding of transitions, pacing, continuity, and basic colour correction.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to understand instructions and work with feedback.
• Time management, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Software Knowledge

• Required: Proficiency in at least one professional editing application, preferably DaVinci Resolve Studio or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, audio editing, and professional media management workflows.

AI & Technology Readiness

• Willingness to learn AI-assisted editing and post-production workflows.
• Interest in automation, productivity tools, and emerging creative technologies.
• Ability to adapt to evolving workflows.

Qualifications

• A degree, diploma, or certification in video editing, multimedia, film production, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Freshers with strong practical skills and a compelling portfolio may apply.
• Professional experience in wedding film editing, cinematic highlights, corporate videos, or social media content is an advantage.
