Product Development Internship in Bangalore

About the Role

As a Product Development Intern at SmartEd Innovations, you’ll help turn early product ideas into useful, well-tested features. Working with the team, you’ll contribute to prototypes, explore technical approaches, and learn how product decisions take shape from concept through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and refine user-facing prototypes in React, translating product requirements and feedback into clear, functional interfaces.
• Support backend development by implementing and testing API endpoints, documenting expected behavior, and helping resolve integration issues.
• Use Python libraries to analyze data, automate small workflows, or evaluate approaches that support product development.
• Explore practical applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning, creating small experiments and sharing results with the team.
• Assist in QA and testing of existing and upcoming MVPs and prototypes.
• Document system design choices, trace how components interact, and identify potential reliability or performance concerns.
• Investigate networking and connectivity issues during development and testing, and communicate findings with clear steps to reproduce them.
• Use Claude to assist with tasks such as brainstorming, code exploration, or drafting test cases, reviewing its output for accuracy and usefulness.
