About the Role

Popular Vehicles & Services Ltd is a multi-dimensional automotive enterprise with a nationwide network of over 200 units, representing brands such as Maruti, Jaguar, Range Rover, and Skoda. The company focuses on delivering comprehensive car care, including maintenance, repairs, and pre-owned vehicle services.

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team in a full-time, on-site role based in Cannanore. This role offers exposure to core HR operations and the opportunity to learn best practices in a dynamic automotive organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with recruitment activities.
• Scheduling interviews.
• Maintaining candidate records.
• Assisting with onboarding processes.
• Updating employee files.
• Supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Collecting and organizing data for HR reports.
• Supporting employee engagement initiatives.
• Coordinating training or orientation sessions.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with an interest in developing a career in HR.
• Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, and the ability to assist in policy communication and documentation.
• Basic skills in Personnel Management, including maintaining employee records and supporting day-to-day HR administration.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work on-site in Cannanore.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused business environment.
