Software Engineer – Core Platform

About the Role

This is a high-intensity, in-office team that moves fast and holds a very high bar. The company is building an AI-powered operations platform for companies that design and manufacture complex hardware, replacing disconnected tools and spreadsheets with a single connected system and using AI agents to automate operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of major features: design, build, test, ship, and maintain them.
• Spend real time with customers learning how hardware gets engineered and built, then turn that into software that changes how they operate.
• Build performant, reliable systems designed to scale with fast-growing customers.
• Influence the technical direction of the platform and the engineering organization.
• Solve whatever technical problems stand between the company and its goals, with no “not my job” mentality.
• Will be placed on one of several product areas covering engineering data, supply chain, production, planning, or the commercial side of the business.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience building complex, scalable systems from zero to one, taking problems all the way to production-grade solutions.
• Strong proficiency in languages such as Rust, Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar.
• A genuine drive to operate with urgency in how you work, how you learn, and how you ship.
• Levels are open from early-career to senior and staff. What matters most is ownership and output.

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Next.js
• Backend: Rust, Python
• Data & Infra: PostgreSQL, NoSQL, AWS (commercial and GovCloud)
• Tooling: Docker, containerized services

Qualifications

• Eligibility for ITAR requirements: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, a refugee or asylee, or otherwise eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorization.
