About the Role

Anatrop Capital Advisors LLP is a boutique investment banking and corporate finance advisory firm. We are looking for a proactive, target-driven Deal Sourcing Intern to identify prospective clients and generate business opportunities for the firm. This is a sales-focused role, primarily focused on lead generation, cold calling, prospecting, client outreach, and sourcing fundraising mandates. This is not a financial analysis or valuation internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify companies that may require equity or debt fundraising.
• Research businesses, founders, promoters, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct cold calls and outreach through LinkedIn, email, and other channels.
• Initiate conversations with business owners regarding their capital-raising requirements.
• Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for the investment banking team.
• Follow up with prospects and maintain a structured sales pipeline.
• Track outreach activity, conversion rates, and lead generation targets.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Graduation is mandatory; candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree.
• Prior experience in cold calling, telesales, B2B sales, lead generation, or business development will be given higher preference.
• Strong verbal communication, persuasion, and networking skills.
• Comfortable with cold outreach, follow-ups, and target-driven work.
• Self-motivated, persistent, and willing to take ownership of results.

Internship Details

• Location: Mumbai
• Work mode: On-site
• Duration: 3 months
• Stipend: 5,000 per month

Important Clarification: This role is primarily focused on sales, cold calling, and deal sourcing. No hands-on exposure to company valuations, financial modelling, equity research, or transaction execution will be provided. Candidates looking specifically for a finance research or valuation internship should not apply.
