About the Role
You will build and maintain the web interfaces that managers and staff use every day. You'll work mainly in our Next.js app, and help with our Vue.js app while we continue moving features across. You'll ship real features alongside senior developers and use AI tools daily to move faster without lowering quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible UI in Next.js (React) and Vue.js
- Turn Figma designs into clean, reusable components that reuse our shared component library
- Integrate REST APIs and handle loading, error, and empty states properly
- Work with large lists and tables without hurting performance (virtualization, memoization, debouncing)
- Fix bugs, write tests, and take part in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback
- Use AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) to speed up your work, and review their output critically before shipping
- Improve performance, accessibility, and cross-browser behavior
- Report API gaps and unclear contracts to the backend team with clear, concrete suggestions
Tech Stack
- Next.js app: Next.js (App Router), React 19, TypeScript
- Vue app: Vue 3 (Composition API)
- UI and styling: MUI, SCSS Modules, a shared in-house component library
- State: Zustand (Next.js), Pinia / Vuex (Vue)
- HTTP: Axios with interceptors
- Other: Charts, drag and drop, virtualized lists, i18n
- Workflow: Git, pull requests, CI checks (typecheck, lint, build)
Strength in one framework plus willingness to learn the other is fine.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Solid JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript basics
- Hands-on projects in React/Next.js or Vue.js (Vue 3 Composition API preferred)
- HTML5 and CSS3, with any modern CSS approach (SCSS, CSS Modules, Tailwind, etc.)
- Comfortable with Git and pull-request workflows; basic CI knowledge
- Experience using AI tools for coding, debugging, or learning, and the judgment to verify what they produce
- Clear communication and ownership of your tasks
Good to Have
- State management experience (Zustand, Redux, Pinia)
- Next.js server components, SSR/SSG and API routes
- Testing with Jest, Vitest, or Playwright
- Experience with component libraries (MUI, shadcn/ui, Vuetify, etc.)
- Accessibility knowledge (keyboard navigation, ARIA, contrast)
- Experience building small AI features (chat UI, streaming responses)
- Open-source contributions or a public GitHub portfolio
How we use AI
We are AI-first, but quality-first. You will have AI tools provided and you're expected to use them. You're also expected to:
- Read and understand every line you ship
- Run typecheck, lint and build before opening a PR
- Check library APIs against the official docs instead of trusting generated code
- Be able to explain your changes in review
Your First 90 Days
- Weeks 1–2: Set up the project, learn the codebase, ship a small bug fix
- Month 1: Own a small UI feature from Figma to production
- Month 3: Build and ship a feature with limited guidance and write tests for it
What we offer
- Real production work on a live SaaS product, not tutorial tasks
- Mentorship from senior engineers and regular code reviews
- An AI-first workflow with tools provided
How to Apply
Send the following to [email]:
- Your resume
- Your GitHub or portfolio link
- One project you are proud of, and how you used AI tools while building it (what you asked the AI, what you changed or rejected, and why)
We value what you can build and how you think more than years of experience.
