About the Role
As a Security Officer Full Time Corporate Exterior Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and assist with badge-related processes. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and security-related policies at a financial institution.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including business operations spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Minimum age: 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
