About the Role
This role focuses on Connectivity and Network Engineering, requiring a deep understanding of engineering practice and knowledge in the following areas:
- Standards and protocols
- Application software and embedded software for:
- Wireless and satellite networks
- Fixed networks
- Enterprise networks
- Connected devices (IoT and device engineering)
- Connected applications (5G/edge, B2X apps)
- Telco Cloud, Automation, and Edge Compute platforms
- Integration of network systems and their operations related to the above technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key contributor in complex or critical environments.
- Proactively understand and anticipate client needs.
- Manage costs and profitability for a work area.
- Manage own agenda to meet agreed targets.
- Develop plans for projects in own area.
- Look beyond immediate problems to wider implications.
- Act as a facilitator, coach, and move teams forward.
