GST Finance Executive

About the Role

The GST Finance Executive role at Boon is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The role involves managing GST-related compliances, including preparation and filing of returns, reconciliation of GST data, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. The GST Finance Executive will assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting monthly and annual closing activities, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring financial transactions.
• Supporting financial reporting for management.
• Performing variance and trend analysis.
• Coordinating with internal teams and external consultants on tax and finance matters.
• Timely documentation.
• Support during audits.
• Continuous process improvement to strengthen financial controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and hands-on experience managing GST compliances and filings.
• Solid foundation in Finance and Financial Reporting, including exposure to accounting principles and closing processes.
• Experience working with Financial Statements and the ability to interpret and validate financial data.
• Strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to perform reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and finance or ERP software, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Prior experience in GST or corporate finance within a product or consumer-focused company is an advantage.
