Mobile Software Engineer Intern

About the Role

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mobile applications for Resideo that enable our products and services, using knowledge and experience with native and cross-platform mobile development.
• Plan and accomplish goals using your experience and judgment.
• Identify and propose technical improvements using your software engineering knowledge and principles.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience using software development tools and processes.
• Experience developing native iOS and Android apps in Swift and Java/Kotlin.
• Experience with the Dart/Flutter cross-platform framework.
• Knowledge and experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with automated testing of mobile applications.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as GitHub Workflows.
• Experience with software source control using GIT.
• GitHub experience.
• Experience developing Bluetooth / BLE applications.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recent completion of a Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, or Mathematics major.

Hiring Salary Range: USD $22.81 to $38.85 per hour (varies by specific work location).

Work Location: Hybrid US.
