About the Role
This role focuses on Systems Engineering and Product Design. It involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in the creation and assurance of products and solutions across engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Defining the fundamental concepts and properties of an engineered system or product.
- Creatively determining a product's physical form, function, and performance.
- Assurance of safety, reliability, availability, and maintainability.
- Addressing the through-life support and evolution of systems and products.
- Provision and support of documentation and information assets.
- Assessment of whole lifecycle environmental impact against environmental regulations and policies.
- Incorporation of renewable energy sources and clean technologies into product and system design.
- Developing competency in own area of expertise.
- Sharing expertise and providing guidance and support to others.
- Interpreting client needs.
- Completing own role independently or with minimum supervision.
- Identifying problems and relevant issues in straightforward situations and generating solutions.
- Contributing in teamwork and interacting with customers.
