About the Role

The Technology and Operations (T&O) team supports BlackRock’s worldwide operations. Enterprise Solutions (ES), within T&O, combines operational, technology, workplace, governance, and risk capabilities. T&O Risk and Control operates within the first line of defense, overseeing the T&O operational risk management framework and promoting global risk management practices.

As an Associate supporting T&O Risk and Control, you will advance the global risk framework and business management activities for Enterprise Solutions. You will collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to support the ES risk agenda, including risk assessment and mitigation, governance, reporting, audit engagement, and related risk management activities. You will also support project management, implementation, and coordination of risk initiatives, aligning with regional counterparts. This role offers exposure across Enterprise Solutions and contributes to the identification, assessment, management, and communication of operational and technology risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with leadership across Enterprise Solutions to support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation initiatives spanning technology and business processes.
• Support regional and global teams in navigating operational and technology risk requirements, Internal Audit engagements, Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), and regulatory expectations.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of risk reporting, analytics, and management information to increase transparency into key risks and emerging issues.
• Participate in risk governance forums to gain insight into new products, business processes, and strategic initiatives and proactively identify potential risks and control considerations.
• Partner with risk, compliance, audit, and business stakeholders to promote alignment on firmwide operational risk priorities and foster a strong risk-aware culture.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Demonstrated experience in risk management, internal audit, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles, internal control frameworks, regulatory expectations, and relevant governance, risk, and cybersecurity frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, and COBIT.
• Proactive and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, execute against deadlines, and maintain a strategic perspective in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, project management, and change management capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience analyzing large data sets, translating findings into actionable insights, and using reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI, Archer, or ServiceNow.
• Ability to build effective relationships and communicate complex concepts clearly across diverse stakeholder groups and organizational levels.
• Intellectual curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• New York, NY Salary Range: USD$110,000.00 - USD$140,000.00. Eligible for annual discretionary bonus and benefits.
• Atlanta, GA Salary Range: USD$95,000.00 - USD$127,500.00. Eligible for annual discretionary bonus and benefits.
