About the Role
The Cisco Intersight team is building the "brain" of the modern data center, enabling seamless AI operations at scale. We provide the control plane for orchestrating and simplifying complex hybrid cloud environments, allowing organizations to deploy, monitor, and optimize AI-driven workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate infrastructure, software components, and integrations in on-prem and cloud environments.
- Work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment to deliver seamless, scalable solutions with broad business impact.
- Solve unique technical problems, explore new territories, and learn.
- Contribute to product design with a passion for quality and customers.
- Work in small, self-organizing teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience programming with Go, C/C++, Java, and/or Python.
- Experience with microservices software architecture and large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience working with cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud.
- Good understanding of Linux, OS, and networking fundamentals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 5 years of related experience.
- Master's in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 3 years of related experience.
- PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 0 year of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Software and product development experience with cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with virtualization environments such as vSphere, HyperV, KVM.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies and AI-assisted development tools.
