About the Role
Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to help create engaging programs and meaningful daily experiences for residents. This role supports the Life Enrichment Director in delivering programs that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and leading group activities, events, and outings
- Support resident participation and encourage engagement
- Help prepare activity spaces and materials
- Document participation and assist with reporting as needed
- Build positive relationships with residents and families
- Partner with other departments to support community-wide events
- Maintain a safe and welcoming activity environment
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Positive, energetic, and compassionate demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead small group activities with confidence
- Organized and dependable with strong follow-through
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in senior living, recreation, hospitality, or customer service preferred
