About the Role
MacLean-Fogg is hiring an Assembly Operator at our Farmington Hills, Michigan manufacturing facility. This full-time, hourly role operates assigned mechanical equipment and supports quality production.
- Location: Farmington Hills, MI
- Work Arrangement: On-site
- Schedule: Multiple shifts available (1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM; 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM)
- Pay: $17.50/hour
- Shift Premium: $1.00/hour for 2nd Shift
- Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly
- Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned mechanical equipment
- Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make adjustments
- Read and interpret blue prints (if applicable)
- Use basic measuring instruments
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Competencies
- Ability to interpret work instructions
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is an on-site manufacturing position involving the operation of mechanical equipment and use of basic measuring instruments. Employees are expected to follow applicable safety, environmental, quality, and 5S requirements.
