About the Role
We're hiring a Simulation Engineer at a well-funded world models and embodied AI startup in San Francisco. The team builds high-fidelity simulations and 3D digital assets that generate synthetic training data for advanced robotics labs. This role is open to fresh MS/PhD grads and experienced simulation engineers.
Key Responsibilities

- Generate synthetic training data to solve robotics' biggest bottleneck: the lack of physical-world data.
- Develop simulation infrastructure and pipelines to create, run, and evaluate environments.
- Model robot dynamics, physics, and interactions for humanoids, manipulators, and robotic arms.
- Work alongside a small team of mostly PhD researchers.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong hands-on Blender and Python (top priority).
- Experience building high-fidelity simulation systems or infrastructure, in a PhD/MS program or in industry.
- Simulation work at a robotics, world-model, or big tech company.
- An MS/PhD from a top university in CS, mechanical engineering, or robotics.
- A robotics or AI simulation background (this role is not a fit for autonomous vehicle, drone, aerospace, or defense simulation).
Bonus Skills
- Isaac Sim
- MuJoCo
- PyBullet
- Gazebo
- Drake
- Omniverse
- ROS2
- C++
- Experience with humanoids, manipulators, or robot arms.
