Job Title: Processing Lab Associate - Night Shift
Location: Homestead, FL
Job Type: Full Time | Non-Exempt
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr
About the Role
As a Processing Lab Associate, you will be responsible for tasks required for chews production. This position will involve demolding and preparing chews for packaging, and cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all tools, equipment, and work surfaces used to produce chews.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices
- Responsible for process Sanitation Gowning & Hygiene
- Keep an organized work area and perform daily tasks such as sanitizing the working area
- Identify and consolidate formulated materials into approved containers and label with appropriate batch information
- Removal of formulated materials from molds
- Wash pots and pans
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Spray molds with release agent
- Operate equipment per SOP
- Make citric acid solution in accordance with SOP
- Make sorbitol solution in accordance with SOP
- Adhere to departmental, site, and corporate safety policies
- Responsible for Sanitation for GMP Compliance, facility and equipment cleaning in a clean room manufacturing environment
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. minimum
- Language Skills
- Ability to read and understand technical procedures, standard operating procedures, and work instructions
- Ability to accurately record information, metrics, and data in a standardized format
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers, management, and regulatory agencies
- 2+ years of applicable experience in filling, manufacturing, and packaging pharmaceutical or food products is a plus.
