About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and research-oriented Intern to contribute to avionics and AI teams in analyzing radar and flight telemetry data to support system performance assessment, calibration, and model development.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Processing
- Analyze flight telemetry data (GPS, IMU, barometer, magnetometer).
- Process radar data for target detection, tracking, and classification.
- Develop algorithms for data filtering, noise reduction, and feature extraction.
- Create visualizations and dashboards for flight performance monitoring.
- Model Development
- Build predictive models for flight trajectory estimation.
- Develop machine learning models for anomaly detection in sensor data.
- Support development of digital twins for aerostat platforms.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare technical reports on data analysis findings.
- Document algorithms, methodologies, and validation results.
- Present findings to engineering and leadership teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Basic understanding of signal processing and time-series analysis.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) preferred.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed B.Tech/M.Tech in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- Knowledge of aerospace systems and sensor data is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
