About the Role
A Probe Production Specialist is an entry-level position that operates various highly complex equipment in a cleanroom environment for Wafer Testing. This role operates on a Compressed Work Week (CWW) schedule, meaning 12-hour shifts for half of the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Run, monitor, set up, and troubleshoot various toolsets.
- Run, monitor, and set up parametric test equipment.
- Run a variety of support equipment.
- Support various groups and departments to achieve goals.
- Communicate effectively with various entities.
Schedule Details
- Back Days (BD): Compressed Work Week (CWW) schedule, working Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday.
- Hours: 6:30 AM to 6:36 PM.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer, math, and reading comprehension skills.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication.
- Ability to follow direction (written and verbal).
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed work specifications for each piece of equipment.
- Ability to multi-task while paying careful attention to detail.
- Prior success working individually and in a team environment.
- Good work history, dependable, personal attendance/punctuality.
- Must have and maintain an above-average attendance.
- Personal availability to work compressed shift schedule.
- Quick adaptability to changes.
- Must adhere to cleanroom requirements.
- Must be able to follow Microchip's Policies.
- Must support Microchip's Guiding Values and Culture.
- Must be 18 years old.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand 75%, walk 15%, sit 10%.
- Ability to carry 20lbs and push 60lbs.

- Previous Probe experience.
- Leadership skills.
- Previous Fab production experience in a cleanroom environment.
