About the Role

This is an entry-level role. We're seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Planner to join our supply chain team. You'll help ensure our inventory is optimized, suppliers perform reliably, and procurement costs stay competitive. This role offers excellent exposure to complex supply chain operations and our fashion rental business model. This role is based at our Arlington, Texas warehouse (on-site Monday-Friday), and reports to the Senior Manager, Procurement & Planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels at our target safety stock for our Texas and New Jersey warehouses.
  • Create and process purchase orders weekly, ensuring accuracy in quantities, specifications, and delivery timelines.
  • Track shipments and coordinate receipt closely with the procurement clerks at each of our warehouses.
  • Manage supplier relationships by tracking delivery performance and quality metrics.
  • Address quality issues and negotiate terms for optimal pricing and service.
  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities through contract review, price benchmarking, and process improvements in partnership with the Senior Manager, Procurement & Planning.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams across both warehouses to align supplies with business needs.
  • Own essential reporting for weekly business reviews, focusing on procurement KPIs and days-on-hand metrics.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel and/or Google Sheets) and ability to work comfortably with data and numbers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with a strong ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to project manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining accuracy and meeting competing deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with fashion retail, e-commerce, or rental business models.
  • Internship or 1+ years of supply chain, procurement, or operations experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning concepts (ABC analysis, reorder points, safety stock).
