Software Engineer Intern, Python / Odoo

About the Role

EOXS is seeking Software Engineer Interns to join their team. This is a 6-month paid, fully remote internship with the potential for a full-time role for top performers. Interns will work on live client features and bug fixes from week one.

The Program

• 6-month paid internship, fully remote
• Stipend: ₹[X] per month
• Full-time Software Engineer roles offered to high-performing interns after 6 months
• Full-time compensation: ₹[X]–[Y] LPA
• Conversion is based on performance and is not guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and modify features in the EOXS ERP using Python and the Odoo framework (models, views, business logic, and reports).
• Fix bugs reported by clients and manage them through the pipeline: Review → Sandbox → QA → Live.
• Write and debug SQL queries against PostgreSQL.
• Utilize AI coding tools in daily work.
• Write clear log notes on every task to communicate status and blockers.
• Work closely with senior developers and QA.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Python fundamentals (functions, classes, data structures, debugging)
• Basic SQL (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY)
• Comfortable with Git
• Ability to read and understand unfamiliar code.
• Clear written communication in English.
• Reliable internet and a laptop for development.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech, MCA, BCA, or B.Sc. (CS/IT) graduates of [2025/2026], or final-year students available full-time.

NICE TO HAVE

• Hands-on Odoo experience (personal project, course, or internship).
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, or HTML/CSS.
• A GitHub profile or project to showcase.

How You'll Be Evaluated for Full-Time

• Code quality: success rate of work passing QA on the first attempt.
• Ownership: completion of assigned tasks and early flagging of blockers.
• Speed of learning: independence on the codebase.
• Communication: clarity and timeliness of log notes and updates.
• Reliability: consistent attendance and delivery.
