About the Role
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Civil Engineer based in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and reviewing civil engineering plans for site development, infrastructure, and building projects.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Preparing design drawings and calculations.
- Supporting stormwater management and drainage solutions.
- Coordinating with architects, planners, and project managers to integrate technical requirements into overall project designs.
- Conducting site assessments.
- Assisting with project planning and scheduling.
- Preparing technical reports and documentation.
- Participating in quality assurance checks.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design issues, optimize project outcomes, and support sustainable, cost-effective engineering solutions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design.
- Ability to develop and review structural, infrastructure, and site development plans.
- Experience working as part of multidisciplinary teams of Civil Engineers.
- Proficiency in project Planning for civil works, including scheduling and resource coordination.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles, including drainage design, runoff analysis, and compliance with environmental and local regulations.
- Familiarity with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools).
- Basic understanding of BIM workflows.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Ability to produce clear technical reports and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Capacity to work effectively in a hybrid setup.
- Ability to manage time independently.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations.
- Prior experience in consultancy, urban infrastructure, or building projects is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
