About the Role
- This is a New Grad Registered Nurse Residency program in Pediatric Neuro.
- Location: Austin, TX
- Facility: Dell Children's Medical Center
- Specialty: Pediatric Neuro
- Schedule: Night / Full-time
- Residency Cohort: Winter 2027
- Start dates: January 19 and February 15
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with your RN preceptor to support patient care through observation, documentation, and clear communication.
- Assist with physician and nursing care plans to help deliver safe, coordinated care.
- Monitor, communicate, and document changes in patient condition.
- Strengthen clinical thinking and judgement through structured transition-to-practice experiences that support safe, competent, person-centered care.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- Certified Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
- Additional Preferences:
- Less than one year of RN experience.
- December 2026 graduates are eligible for consideration.
