About the Role
IBM Systems division builds Servers, Storage, and Systems Software that form the foundation for enterprise customers and data centers. The India Systems Development Lab (ISDL) is a part of the worldwide IBM Systems division, with teams working across the IBM Systems stack.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Opportunities exist in the Design & Development of Processors for IBM Mainframe & Power systems.
- Design and development of processors.
- Processor core development.
- Logic design.
- Analog circuit design.
- Physical design.
- Custom layout.
- Memory & Library characterization.
- Design and development of algorithms to verify, validate, and debug processor Architecture & Performance.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Digital Logic design
- Computer Architecture
- RISC V or other processor pipeline knowledge
- VLSI design flow and process knowledge
- Good understanding of custom circuits
- Analog design
- Digital logic design
- Memory technologies
- Good programming and scripting skills in Python/Perl
