AI Product Engineer (CMH Health)

About the Role

The AI Product Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and integrating AI technologies into healthcare applications to enhance operational efficiency and deliver value. This role contributes by collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals to design AI-powered solutions aligned with business goals and client needs, ensuring the effective deployment and optimization of AI models within existing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and integrate pre-trained AI models into applications using Python or C#.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design AI-powered solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into current workflows.
• Design, develop, maintain, and scale AI-powered applications.
• Troubleshoot and optimize AI systems for performance and reliability.
• Stay updated on AI technologies and methodologies to improve solutions.
• Coordinate with data teams to align AI models with data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Document AI models and applications following best practices and ethical standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 0 to 4 years of experience in software development focused on AI and machine learning.
• Experience with foundational model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or Llama.
• Proficiency in Python and C#.
• Experience with AI frameworks like LangChain, OpenAI, LlamaIndex, PromptFlow, or PyTorch.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms and natural language processing.
• Familiarity with software development practices, version control, and agile methodologies.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure) and managing large datasets.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry and regulatory considerations is preferred.

Compensation

• The overall salary range for this role is $85,100 - $177,675.
• For candidates in specified states and cities, salaries vary by experience with ranges from $97,865 to $177,675.
