About the Role
An on-site internship role based in Pune City at CA Pritam Mahure and Associates (PMA), an award-winning Chartered Accountancy firm recognized for its leadership in GST and Indirect Taxes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team in delivering GST advisory, compliance, and litigation services.
- Assist in GST return preparation and review.
- Compile and analyze data for GST health checks.
- Support documentation for audits, investigations, and assessments.
- Draft notes, working papers, and summaries on GST issues.
- Research relevant GST provisions, notifications, circulars, and case laws.
- Contribute to client presentations, internal knowledge material, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate and timely work delivery.
- Gain hands-on exposure to diverse industries and real-world GST applications.
Qualifications
- CA Inter Both Groups Passed.
- Sound understanding of basic accounting and taxation concepts, with a keen interest in GST and Indirect Taxes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to handle data, prepare reports, and create structured documentation.
- Keen interest to use AI.
- Ability to conduct structured legal and tax research, interpret statutes and case laws, and summarize findings clearly.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a systematic approach to reviewing transactions and reconciliations.
Stipend: INR 10,000 per month for the first year; INR 14,000 per month from the second year.
