About the Role

This is an on-site internship role based in Lucknow for a Legal Intern. Interns gain exposure to real-world casework, client interactions, and court procedures under experienced supervision. The work environment emphasizes ethical practice, continuous learning, and the development of strong legal research and drafting skills. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience in litigation practice and professional legal conduct.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in legal research.
• Conduct case law analysis.
• Prepare case notes and briefs.
• Draft and review legal documents.
• Organize case files.
• Support the preparation of petitions, affidavits, and written submissions.
• Observe court proceedings.
• Assist in client meetings.
• Identify and summarize key legal issues relevant to ongoing matters.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law and the ability to understand and apply statutory provisions and case law.
• Skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting petitions, notices, contracts, and legal correspondence.
• Ability to analyze and address Legal Issues, with attention to detail and logical reasoning.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and court staff, and for clear written work.
• Interest in Legal Consulting, including researching options, summarizing findings, and supporting advisory work.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a law degree program (LL.B or equivalent).
• Proficiency in legal research tools and databases; familiarity with citation formats.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and professional conduct in an office and courtroom environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Lucknow and commit to the internship schedule as agreed.
