About the Internship
This is a hands-on internship for individuals aspiring to grow as motion designers by working on real client projects. Creatives developed will be displayed on screens across Kerala for actual brands from the first week. The internship focuses on designing for TV screens in public spaces, emphasizing short, silent creatives viewable from a distance. Participants will build a portfolio of live, client-approved motion ads and gain a practical understanding of real-world ad creatives.
What You'll Learn and Do
- Take a client brief from idea to storyboard to final render, with team guidance.
- Design short-form motion ads (10–30 sec) for TV screens and see them go live.
- Adapt client branding, product shots, and offers into clean, readable motion.
- Build reusable templates for recurring campaign formats and work efficiently without compromising quality.
- Understand file formats, specifications, and the delivery process for a live screen network.
- Collaborate with sales and content teams to understand client requirements and rationale.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- After Effects (basic working knowledge)
- Premiere Pro, Illustrator, or Photoshop (a plus)
- Canva, Figma, or 3D tools (Blender, Cinema 4D) (bonus)
Qualifications
- Students or recent graduates in design, animation, multimedia, or related fields, or self-taught designers with a portfolio.
- Some demonstrable work (class projects, personal experiments, or freelance pieces).
- An eye for typography, colour, and timing.
- Willingness to take feedback and iterate.
- Ability to read briefs in Malayalam or English.
