About the Role
Simon, Reed & Salazar, P.A. is seeking a newly admitted junior associate attorney (up to four years of experience) to join its growing insurance coverage practice. This position is ideal for an attorney looking to build a career in coverage law and complex litigation under the mentorship of an experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing complex first- and third-party coverage issues across commercial property, homeowner's, marine/cargo, fine art, and general liability lines
- Drafting reservation of rights letters, coverage position letters, and related correspondence
- Conducting legal research on coverage disputes, bad faith exposure, and complex litigation issues
- Supporting a team of experienced attorneys in insurance coverage matters, complex litigation, and federal court practice
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong research and writing skills
- Sound judgment
- Genuine interest in developing a coverage practice
- Must be licensed in Florida
- No prior coverage experience is required.
