About the Role
This full-time, remote internship at SkillzenLoop, lasting 1 to 3 months, focuses on writing efficient queries, designing tables, and building reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up MySQL.
- Explore existing tables and write simple queries to understand data connections.
- Write JOINs, subqueries, and aggregations.
- Create views and stored procedures.
- Identify and optimize slow queries using indexes or improved design.
- Document changes made to queries or design.
- Check results against source data daily.
- Share progress in short daily check-ins.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- SQL basics (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING, subqueries).
- Working knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Understanding of primary keys, foreign keys, and normalization.
- Logical, structured thinking.
- A laptop and a stable internet connection.
Qualifications
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, B.Com, or any stream with strong SQL skills.
- Self-taught learners who can show a project or certificate.
- Freshers with no prior experience needed.
- Candidates who can work full-time for the internship period.
Skills that will help but are not required:
- Knowledge of indexes and query execution plans.
- Basic Excel or Python.
- A SQL practice profile on HackerRank or LeetCode, or a small database project.
