About the Role
The Accounting Intern role at Laneway is an internship position based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial records.
- Support the maintenance of general ledgers.
- Post journal entries under guidance.
- Help with financial statement preparation.
- Reconcile accounts.
- Update accounting systems.

- Support basic financial analysis.
- Assist in tracking expenses and revenues.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Finance.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Good proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other basic office productivity tools.
- Attention to detail.
- Integrity in handling financial information.
- Ability to follow structured processes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a team.
- Interest in consulting, technology-led businesses, and learning modern financial practices is an added advantage.
